# How do I move my pipeline with my assistant?

> Ask how your opportunities are doing, spot the stuck ones and move them, one by one or in a group.

A **pipeline** is a board of stages (for example: New, Contacted, Meeting, Proposal, Won). An **opportunity** is a possible sale with a company. You can have several pipelines: "Ventas MX", "Gobierno".

## Ask how you are doing

> How is my pipeline? Give me how many opportunities there are per stage and what each is worth.

> Which opportunities are stuck?

Brein computes the numbers, not the assistant by hand. **Stuck** is an open opportunity with no activity in 14 days.

> What is going on with the company Acme? What is next?

## Tell it what happened

> We had a meeting with Acme yesterday; move it to "Meeting" and note that they asked for a proposal.

The assistant shows you the change before and after, and waits for your yes. If you lost an opportunity, it offers a reason (Price, Not the time, Competition, No answer, Does not qualify, Other). You can skip it.

## Create opportunities and pipelines

> Create an opportunity in "Gobierno" for Acme, product Enterprise, 120 thousand pesos.

Also with a yes. Creating a new pipeline with your stages does not need one:

> Create a pipeline "Distribuidores" with the stages Contact, Demo, Proposal, Close.

## Move many at once

> Move to "Contacted" everyone in the List "Alimentos NL" who already has an email.

First it counts how many and what will happen. Up to 50 contacts or companies, filing them in a pipeline or archiving them it does alone. With more than 50, **or if a stage changes**, it asks for your yes. If the group changed while you were deciding, it proposes again.

## What Brein looks after

* A contact is a **Customer** only when they take part in a won opportunity. It is not marked by hand.
* Deleting an opportunity deletes its history. To stop seeing it, **archive** it or mark it lost.
* Whoever filled a Form or you imported shows in your contacts with their **Origin**, so you know where they came from.
