# How do I teach my assistant my criteria?

> Cerebro keeps the why of your selling. You define it once and your assistant reads it before acting.

You decide **who you sell to**. That lives in **Cerebro**: short documents, in folders, that your assistant reads before looking for customers or writing an email. If Cerebro is empty, the assistant guesses. If it is good, it gets it right more often and asks you less.

## What is worth writing

| Document | What it says |
| - | - |
| Offer | What you sell, at what price and which problem you solve. |
| Ideal customer | Which kind of company buys, what size, where, and who decides. |
| Exclusions | Who you do not sell to, and why. |
| Signals | Which fact tells you someone is about to buy. |
| How we talk | The tone of your emails and what you never say. |

## Ask for it like this

> Interview me to write my offer and my ideal customer. Ask me the questions one at a time and save them to Cerebro at the end.

> Read my Cerebro and tell me what is missing for you to find me customers.

## What it does alone and what it asks

* **Reading** Cerebro: alone.
* **Writing a new document**: alone.
* **Changing one that already exists**: it shows you the full new text and waits for your yes. If someone edited it meanwhile, it does not overwrite the change.

That way your criteria is never rewritten without you seeing it.

## To see your Cerebro

Open it in Brein, under **Cerebro**, or ask your assistant: "show me what is in my Cerebro".
