# How much does it cost and what are credits?

> What spends credits, what is free and what each plan includes.

**Credits** are Brein's only currency. They are spent when you receive contact data. Almost everything else is free.

## What costs

You are always told the maximum **before** spending. To see your balance: "how many credits do I have left?"

Each plan includes the previous one. There are larger plans for teams, and a credit top-up. Current prices and limits are always on Brein's pricing page.

## What happens at a limit

Everything stays readable. What you cannot do is create more. Your assistant tells you **which limit it was** and gives you the link to Billing. Nothing is ever deleted.

## Monthly credits

They renew every month and do not accumulate. Top-up credits last 12 months.

## Trying a paid plan

From "See their email" in Companies you can open a 15-day Solo trial with a card. One trial per workspace.
