# Tally

> Each response to a Tally form creates their Contact and their Company.

## What it brings into Brein

Each response creates or fills in a **Contact** and their **Company**. If you ask at connect time, it also opens an **Opportunity**.

Brein recognizes fields by their type and by the word in their label. The first one it finds wins.

| In Tally | Goes to |
| - | - |
| First email field | Contact email |
| First phone field | Contact phone |
| Text with label *Nombre* or *Name* | Contact name |
| Text with label *Cargo*, *Puesto*, *Role*, *Title* or *Rol* | Contact role |
| Text with label *Empresa*, *Company* or *Compañía* | Company name |
| First link field | Company website |

## Connect it

<Steps>
  <Step title="In Brein">
    Go to **Settings → Integrations → Connect → Tally**. Copy the **address** and the **secret**. The secret is shown only once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="In Tally">
    Publish your form and open its **Integrations** tab. Click **Connect** next to **Webhooks**. Paste the address in **Endpoint URL**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Turn on signing">
    Turn on the **signing secret** and paste the Brein secret. From then on Tally sends the `Tally-Signature` header, and Brein verifies it.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Test">
    Answer your form. You will see the Arrival in Brein.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Which events to choose

Tally has only one event: a new form response (`FORM_RESPONSE`). There is nothing to choose.

## Limits

* Use clear labels (**Nombre**, **Empresa**, **Puesto**; or Name, Company, Role). If a label says something else, the field arrives as a **new field, undecided** and you assign it.
* A form without a required email or phone can bring **no person** responses. Make the email required.
* Tally waits 10 seconds for your answer and retries if it fails. Brein answers right away.
