# Cal.com

> Each new booking in Cal.com creates the Contact of whoever booked and their Company.

## What it brings into Brein

Every time someone books a meeting, Brein creates or fills in their **Contact** and their **Company** (by the domain of their work email). If you ask at connect time, it also opens an **Opportunity** in the Pipeline and stage you choose, for example "Meeting".

| From Cal.com | Goes to |
| - | - |
| First invitee's name | Contact name |
| First invitee's email | Contact email |

If the invitee has no name or email, Brein takes them from the booking form's response.

## Connect it

<Steps>
  <Step title="In Brein">
    Go to **Settings → Integrations → Connect → Cal.com**. Copy the **address** and the **secret**. The secret is shown only once.
  </Step>

  <Step title="In Cal.com">
    Go to **Settings → Developer → Webhooks** and create a new one (**New**). Paste the address in **Subscriber URL** and the secret in **Secret**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Choose the event">
    Among the event triggers, leave **Booking Created** checked. Save.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Test">
    Book a test meeting. In Brein, the Integration changes to **Connected** and you will see the Arrival.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Which events to choose

Only **Booking Created** (`BOOKING_CREATED`). Brein receives any other events you check, but ignores them without an error.

## Limits

* Brein takes only the booking's **first invitee**. Other invitees and the organizer are not added.
* A rescheduled or cancelled booking changes nothing on the Contact.
* If the invitee uses a free email (for example `gmail.com`), the Contact is created but the Company is not.
